Avington is sleek and sophisticated and is an ultra petite full pebble grain leather. The feel is smooth and ever so slightly waxy. This German leather is crisp and clean and can easily stand alone for a striking appearance, yet it is very durable for high traffic areas. Using only select premium grade south German cowhides. Avington is tanned using an environmentally friendly tanning processes. The hides are dyed for color and then receive a layer of pigment in order to give the leather the desired final color. All of the dyes and pigments are water-based and contain no PCP. Opaque pigment covers the surface of the hide to produce consistent coloration within each dye lot. A clear water-based topcoat is applied for protection. Avington hides are large and clean, they will show natural characteristics such as neck and belly wrinkles healed scars and scratches.
