Casino wins the glitz and glamour award. This distinctive ostrich leather pattern has a dramatic metallic color that adds a bit of pizzazz to any application. This full top grain leather is tanned using a specific tanning process that is formulated to ensure the leather retains the decorative embossing deep into the surface of the leather. Casino is embossed using a mold instead of a standard embossing plate, which allows the embossing to have a three dimensional look. The ostrich design is a traditional pattern that has been around for decades. The design is an overall non-directional pattern, yet in the finishing process some embossing lines may become apparent and should not be treated as a defect. Casino is layered with water-based finishes and glazes in order to give the leather its rich deep color. Since all of the finishes are applied by hand inconsistencies rom hide to hide and within each hide should be understood and appreciated. Expect color variation rom swatch to order. A clear water based top coat is applied for protection. Please expect natural characteristics uch as healed scars, scratches, neck and belly wrinkles in Casino. Natural characteristics are part ure aniline leathers and should be understood. Like most pure aniline leathers prolonged exposure to light will cause them to fade.
