Aviation leather is dyed in the drum along with the flame chemical. All of the leather will be on raw material that is dyed to be as close to the surface color as possible. We use a South German raw material. The hides average 55 feet. Overages of 10% will apply to shipments at times due to the fact that leather is a natural product and the hides will never be the exact same size. Cowhides are the raw material used to make this product and cow hides vary based on the lot average at the time of production. We will use the 55-foot average for any contract. You are able to select a raw material selection that determines the price of the leather, which can be done per contract. Prices are subject to change based on the fact we are dealing with a global economy so we shift based on the Euro. Contracts for footage are the best policy and are the only way we can hold the price of a product.
